Coming to DTLA Whole Foods
By Let's Talk Los Angeles on February 9, 2015
A Whole Foods Market is set to open in downtown Los Angeles on Nov. 4, city officials announced today.
The planned 41,000-square-foot natural and organic foods market is being built at Eighth Street and Grand Avenue, part of a larger, 700-unit residential development by Carmel Partners.
The market is projected to bring about 150 jobs to the area, and would join Ralphs Market as one of just two large grocery stores in the area, according to City Councilman Jose Huizar, who announced the opening date with Whole Foods and Carmel executives during a downtown event.
