USC Village to get a Trader Joe’s
By Let's Talk Los Angeles on September 21, 2014
The Cali-based speciality grocery chain was eyeing a location in the thriving ‘hood, USC will score its very own TJ, located inside the university’s massive new mixed-user USC Village Given that USC Village is being called “the largest mixed-use project in South LA history,” the 15-acre development will easily accommodate the 12,700-square-foot Trader Joe’s that’s in the process of being built.
Don’t drown in your organic grocery store-yearning sorrows just yet, Downtowners. Let’s not forget about that 42,000-square-foot Whole Foods headed to Downtown Los Angeles on 8th and Grand next year.
