Sweet & Tangy Apricot Wings
Ingredients:
1 lb of Wings
3 Tbsp of Season salt
2 Cups of Vegetable oil
1/2 Cup of Apricot preserves
1 Tbsp Chili garlic sauce
1 Tbsp Butter
1/4 Cup of Hot wing hot sauce
Rinse wings and allow them to drain, then place into a mixing bowl and season with season salt of your choice. After the 1 pound of wings have been seasoned pour into a skillet 2 cups of vegetable oil and heat at 350 (for frying wings). One by one place wings in the skillet and fry each batch if more than one batch for 18 minutes until golden brown and crispy (no flour needed for wings). Now in a separate pan heat the Apricot preserves, Chili garlic sauce, butter and Hot wing sauce until it melts down to a smooth consistency. After wings are done dip wings in the Apricot sauce coat liberally, plate and enjoy.
