The History of Small Business Saturday
American Express credit card company started Small Business Saturday in 2010. Yes, most small retailers did not at accept credit cards even at that time, the Small Business Administration (SBA) joined in as a co-sponsor and five years later Small Business Saturday (SBS) has become an important part of how many small businesses launch their busiest shopping season following and Black Friday but before Cyber Monday.
