Public Cell Phone Charging and WiFi Service
It goes without saying, but in two years, every single restaurant, hotel, coffee shop and university will have public cell phone charging stations and provide Wi Fi. It’s a great way to differentiate one business from the rest and include an innovative amenity, this will keep people happier longer and possibly increase sales.
In Los Angeles the Metro Board (public transportation) will be considering cell phone and wi-fi service transit system in Los Angeles. A pilot program of selected bus shelters will include integral phone utility suites offering WiFi hotspots and charging stations to allow commuters to stay connected. With bus shelters in every neighborhood of the city, the connected shelters can become communication and safety hubs for each neighborhood.
