Park in the Middle DTLA

DTLA has plans for a 33-feet-wide park in the middle of a thoroughfare something new for Los Angeles. Its known as (SouthParkLA) http://southpark.la/the-spot/ The Spot @ Hope Street, the innovative project will line the center of Hope street, just south of 11th Street, for about half a block long. Temporarily for now, with potential for permanency, the center park will open May 2 and operate until at least June 30, 2016.
