New Blues Festival
Blues, bar-b-que and family combine for a perfect day, and the upcoming New Blues Festival promises just that. Sponsored by Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que, the festival will be held on Sunday Aug. 31 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Police Officer Association Park, near Long Beach Towne Center in Long Beach.
Featuring a talented line up that includes Jamie Bess Belushi, BoxCar 7, Bernie Pearl, The Mighty Mojo Prophets and Brophy Dale, the New Blues Festival is reviving a Labor Day tradition that continued for 25 years in Long Beach.
Lucille’s will be proudly offering specially-priced bbq sandwiches, including their popular pulled pork and tri tip, and kids meals.
Tickets for the New Blues Festival are $20 and available at all six Long Beach Lucille’s locations including Long Beach Towne Center, Cerritos, Long Beach Marina, The District at Tustin Legacy, the Del Amo Mall in Torrance and Westfield Culver City, and online at at www.newbluesfestival.com.
