National Margarita Day
National Margarita Day 2017 is Feb. 22!
National Margarita Day was started to celebrate the margarita, coupled with friends family and good times. Its often a debate as to who was responsible for creating the sweet tart tasty beverage. But what we do know for sure is the frozen margaritas were invented in the 1970’s when an inventive bartender converted a soft serve ice cream unit into a frozen margarita machine. This was the start of Margarita options the classic on the rocks or frozen most commonly mixed with Tequila. The Margarita has so many varieties of flavors The Cadillac, Strawberry, Peach, Mango and the list goes on and on and can present itself in so many ways depending on where you may live and the culture. Be it mixed (on the rocks) or frozen the margarita has made its mark in our history.
