By Let's Talk Los Angeles on May 23, 2015
Studies show that 2 of 5 children are obese in the U.S., some cities in California have taken charge in the fight against obesity adopting Meatless Mondays promoting healthier eating. It’s a simple way to get people to consider healthier food options when eating out and preparing meals at home. Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. just to name a few are backing Meatless Mondays in recent years. If just for one day a week, people would think a little more about what they are eating we could be on to something that could truly charge against the alarming rate of obesity in America.
