This concept spot by Chego!/Pot/Kogi superstar chef Roy Choi promises delicious, high quality foodie fare at an affordable price. Opened in collaboration with NOMA head chef Rene Redzipi and Michelin star chef Daniel Patterson, among others, Locol seeks to work with gourmet chefs on sustainable solutions to challenges in the food industry.
The food is absolutely delish we sampled the Carnitas Foldies aka tacos and the Local Cheeseburg. Today while visiting the location we were able to find out from Roy Choi what inspired the location and he stated “a friend of his Aqeela said watts needed a place like locol” this adds diversity to the local food selections and creates jobs in the community.
