LA County Library Side Walk Service

Starting October 6, we’re expanding our Sidewalk Service holds pickup to 21 additional libraries. With a total of 67 locations, you’ll have more access to the books, music, and movies you want to borrow! For a full list of locations, visit LACountyLibrary.org/express-service.
Also, starting October 6, please note that our service schedule will change:
- Monday – Friday Locations (all 46 locations that were already offering Sidewalk Service) will shift Tuesday hours later, to 12 – 7 pm, to allow for evening pickups.
- Tuesday – Saturday Locations (our 21 newly-added libraries) will offer Sidewalk Service 12 – 7 pm on Tuesday, and 10 am – 5 pm Wednesday – Saturday.
Holds can be placed using our online catalog or by calling your local library.
Materials can be returned in library bookdrops, which remain open. All returned materials will be quarantined before being reissued, as recommended by health officials.
Sidewalk Service libraries are also now offering Printing Pickup of wireless print jobs.
