On Sunday January 26, 2020 it was reported and confirmed Los Angeles Lakers Star Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas California. There were 9 passengers aboard the aircraft including the pilot. It is with great sadness to make such a statement since other families are also grieving the loss of love ones in the accident. Kobe Bryant was with his 13year old daughter Gianna as they were in flight to her basketball game tournament. They were accompanied by Christina Mauser Coach of Gianna’s middle school in Orange County, Sarah Chester with her daughter Payton Chester, the Baseball Coach John Altobelli of Orange Coast College in Orange County his wife Alyssa Altobelli and their daughter who played on the same team with Gianna Bryant.
