Free Fifa Watch Parties across Los Angeles
Los Angeles is launching a major free community FIFA World Cup viewing program called “Kick It In the Park” for the 2026 tournament. The city says the initiative will bring more than 100 free public watch parties to neighborhoods across Los Angeles during the World Cup from June 11 through July 19, 2026.
The program is being organized by the City of Los Angeles in partnership with the Mayor’s Office, City Council districts, Recreation & Parks, and the Department of Cultural Affairs. Mayor Karen Bass announced the effort as part of the citywide celebration surrounding the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Here’s what is planned for the free community watch parties:
- Large outdoor LED screens showing live FIFA World Cup matches
- Family-friendly environments at city recreation centers and parks
- Youth soccer clinics and soccer-themed activities
- Cultural entertainment and neighborhood programming
- Food vendors and community resource booths
- Events spread across multiple regions of Los Angeles, including the Valley, Harbor area, Westside, South L.A., and East L.A.
The city says there will be approximately 18 park sites hosting screenings and more than 100 total viewing events throughout the tournament.
Some of the larger official World Cup fan zones connected to the broader Los Angeles World Cup celebration include:
- Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
- The Original Farmers Market
- Los Angeles Union Station
- Hansen Dam
- Earvin “Magic” Johnson Park
- Venice Beach
Los Angeles is one of the main U.S. host cities for the World Cup and will host eight tournament matches, including the U.S. Men’s National Team opener at SoFi Stadium.
