Mac & Cheese

Mac & Cheese
Ingredients:
2 Cups large elbow macaroni
3 Cups chicken broth
3 TBS butter
1-12 oz can evaporated milk
1 cup half and half
½ tsp onion powder
½ mustard powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp white pepper
3 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese use 1 cup for topping
1 cup shredded Muenster cheese or Slices
1 Cup White Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 F
- Pour broth in a large pot and bring to a boil
- Stir in the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions or until al dente.
- Drain macaroni. Do NOT rinse.
- Pour macaroni back into the pot and turn heat off
- Stir in the butter until it melts
- Pour in the evaporated milk and half and half.
- Turn heat back on to medium.
- Stir in 2 cups of the Colby Jack and 1 cup of White Cheddar cheeses
- Stir until melted
- Add in and stir the salt, onion powder, and white pepper
- Once cheese melts, turn off the heat.
- Butter a baking dish.
- Pour the macaroni into the dish in a single layer.
- Add the remaining cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes or until the cheese is as melted or as brown on top as you’d like.
