Communities in Schools LA
This October, the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) Task Force will host its 15th Annual Young Hollywood Party (YHP). More than 1,000 celebrities, entertainment and sports industry professionals will be invited to help raise money to support Communities In Schools of Los Angeles (CISLA).
This event is 21 and over.
The vision of Communities In Schools of Los Angeles is that every student in L.A.’s public schools receives the supports he or she needs in order to develop the emotional, social and learning skills required to graduate high school ready for meaningful employment or higher education. CIS of Los Angeles serves 12,000 at-risk students at 10 traditional public schools throughout Los Angeles: Mendez Learning Center, Hollenbeck Middle School, John Liechty Middle School, Mark Twain Middle School, Daniel Webster Middle School, Clinton Middle School, Santee Education Complex, Manual Arts High School, Hamilton High School, and Le Conte Middle School.
