Under the Southern California sun construction crews lay concrete barriers to skirt Shoreline Drive. As the project gets under way the course is surrounded with fencing poles near the grandstands down at the pike in preparation for the April event. The 41st annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach will take place the weekend of April 17-19.
