Gowns provided over 400 young women
By Let's Talk Los Angeles on October 26, 2014
CASA of Los Angeles’ “Day at the Races,” took place at the Santa Anita Racetrack this past Sunday.
The event raised $55,000 that will help with the upcoming “Glamour Gowns” event in March.
Last year Glamour Gowns provided over 400 young women in foster care from all over Los Angeles with new formal gowns, shoes, jewelry and more from major designers, all at no cost. This year’s event also provided boys formal wear.
The event is organized by a dedicated volunteer committee working with CASA of Los Angeles.
