Compton Rodeo Postponed and New Location

Event organizers announced that the benefit was rescheduled to July 25 and moved to the City of Commerce. Public announcements confirmed the date and venue change, with so much interest and ticket demands Color Compton had to increased the venue size.
If you’re planning to attend, arriving early is recommended since this community event is expected to draw a large crowd.
The Compton Rodeo Benefit, organized in partnership with the Compton Cowboys and Color Compton to raise funds for the Compton Museum, has officially been postponed and relocated.

- Time: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- New Location: The Compound by Dirt Dog, City of Commerce, California
- Purpose: Benefit event supporting the expansion of the Compton Museum and celebrating Compton’s rich Black cowboy heritage.
What to Expect
The event is designed as a community celebration with a rodeo theme and includes:
- Live music and DJs
- Horse exhibitions and trail rides
- Mechanical bull
- Barbecue, tacos, Caribbean food, wings, funnel cakes, lemonade, and other food vendors
- Games including dominoes and spades
- Community vendors and cultural activities
- Fundraising for the Compton Museum’s future expansion
