Round 2 Small Business Grants

LA’s Mayor Eric Garcetti announcing Round 2 additional $10 million investment in small business grants through the L.A. Regional COVID-19 Recovery Program. Glad to be working with @CD6Nury, @CurrenDPriceJr, and our City Council, and partnering with @CountyofLA on this initiative.

This funding is designed to assist our most vulnerable businesses, many of whom are not served by the federal Paycheck Protection Program. Learn more at LACovidFund.org or contact one of our @LAEWDD Business Source Centers. The next round of applications opens 7/20.

Round 2 will be open 7/20-7/24

The LA Regional COVID-19 Recovery Fund will deploy $3 million in grants available at $5,000 or $15,000 to micro-entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profits. There are 6 total rounds, with finalists notified after each round.

Grants

The Fund will deploy $3 million in grants available at $5,000 for micro-entrepreneurs and $15,000 for small businesses and non-profits operating in Los Angeles County over the course of four (4) months. The application portal for the first round of funding is now closed. The portal for Round 2 will be open July 20th – July 24th, 2020.

Loans

The Fund will deploy flexible loans and micro-loans to micro-entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profits across the LA region in Fall 2020.

Coaching and Technical Assistance

The LA Regional COVID-19 Recovery Fund partners with community organizations to provide free coaching and one-on-one technical assistance (TA) to all applicants seeking support before, during, and after grant and loan submission. Find the right provider for you below.
