Pershing Square DTLA Summer Concerts
This summer’s Downtown Stage night music lineup has something for everyone. On Saturday nights the concert lawn is open to the public at 7:00 pm to make sure everyone is comfortable when the music begins at 8:00 pm. A Beer, Wine, and a Hard Bar will be open for guests who can provide identification of legal drinking age. A variety of food trucks provide dining options.
For the Downtown Stage’s 10th anniversary the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, Pershing Square will host a variety of summer programs and special events that will cater to all ages and diverse multi-cultural communities. From the Mobile Youth Summer Splash Day to the Salsa Festival, Friday Night Movies, LA Goes Country, Vegan Festival, I Love LA Fest, Junity, Wednesday Farmers Market, and of course the Saturday night Downtown Stage Concerts. Pershing Square will be everybody’s downtown entertainment destination this summer.
The audience is welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets to relax with family and friends and enjoy free entertainment under the twinkling lights of Downtown Los Angeles. Easy access and check-in will be located on the corner of 6th and Olive. It is suggested that all guests read the summer concert rules so that the venue entrance can be accessed quickly and safely. Pershing Square encourages all of our guests to enjoy the summer by visiting all that Downtown has to offer including museums, restaurants, and an exciting night life.
More events at Pershing Square
Wednesday concerts are held at 12:00pm during the Pershing Square Farmers’ Market. Tables, chairs and umbrellas are available so our guests may enjoy lunch while listening to a variety of fun music. Join us for lunch which you may either bring to the venue or purchase at the Farmers’ Market. The lunch music menu has something for everyone.
This year Friday Night Flicks will be showing the best of 80″s films. Snap on your fanny pack and bring your walkman. Films begin at dark. A fun trivia quiz about the movie is played with the audience before the show. Each movie will be shown on a 40 foot wide by 20 foot high screen with a full sound system. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and a picnic to the Friday Night Flicks. Well behaved pets on a leash are always welcome.
