Kids Entrepreneurship Business StartUp Camp UC Irvine
Concordia University offers a Summer Business Day Camp for kids (grades 5-8) at their Irvine campus. Your child will enjoy an interactive one-week business program of learning the principles of entrepreneurship and starting and running their own real-work business, and take part in a business plan competition for a $350 prize. July 23-27, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
They also offer Teen Entrepreneur Academy, a one-week residential summer academy, July 22-28, open to high school students interested in learning real-world business principles from successful entrepreneurs. This fun, activity-packed experience allows participants to work in small groups and write actual business plans – with the best one winning a $1,500 prize!

Purpose
The overall goal of KEA is to inspire students to create real businesses and realize a profit. The KEA has five educational goals:
- Teach students the relevancy of entrepreneurship
- Develop an entrepreneurial mindset while connecting their world to the world around them
- Provide students with the psychological benefits of ownership and empowerment so that vital business and life skills emerge
- Enable students to start exploring possible career options; and
- To show kids how their core academic learning applies to the world around them.
