Green Bean Casserole

Green Bean Casserole

2 lbs fresh green beans

2 cans cream of mushroom soup

2 chicken bouillon cubes

8 oz of cheese

6 oz package of fried onions

 

Instructions:

  1. Snip or pinch off pointed ends of fresh green beans, rinse well and set aside
  2. Grate cheese and set aside
  3. In a 4 or 5 qt pot fill up to half with water add bouillon cubes and boil until they dissolve
  4. Carefully place green beans in boiling broth and cook for 20 mins drain and set aside
  5. In a (preferably square or oval) baking dish place half of the green beans as a first layer
  6. Then pour and spread 1 can of cream of mushroom soup over the top of green beans
  7. Add a layer of the french fried onions (use sparingly need 2 layers and a little bit for topping)
  8. Now add half of the grated cheese
  9. Repeat with remainder green beans, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, French fried onions, and cheese
  10. Cover with foil and bake Casserole at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until bubby
  11. Last remove foil top with French fried onions bake 5 more minutes with out foil until French fried onions are brown
  12. Remove from oven allow to sit cool and serve
