Chicken Marsala
Chicken Marsala with Mushrooms
Ingredients for the Chicken:
2 Chicken Breast Boneless
¼ cup All purpose Flour
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Black pepper
1 Tablespoon Italian Seasonings
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
2 Tablespoon Butter
For the Sauce:
1 Tablespoon Butter
1 tsp Garlic minced
2 cups Mushrooms Sliced
1 cup Marsala Cooking Wine
1 pinch Salt & Pepper mixture
½ cup Chicken Stock or Broth
1/3 cup Heavy Cream
Garnish with Parsley fresh chopped
Cooking Instructions:
1) Prep Chicken breast by cutting each into two slices lengthwise
2) Mix Salt & Pepper in a small bowl and set aside
3) In a shallow bowl combine all purpose flour, some salt & pepper, and Italian seasoning
4) Dredge chicken breast in the seasoned flour thoroughly and set aside
5) Heat pan with olive oil and butter
6) Place all four chicken breast in the pan, cook and flip chicken until golden brown and set aside
7) Add Tablespoon of butter melt and then put the sliced Mushrooms into the pan and allow them to cook and reduce in size
8) Season with salt & pepper mixture for a minute or two
9) Pour in Chicken Stock and Heavy Cream cook with the mushrooms over the medium heat until sauce thickens
10) Garnish with fresh parsley pair with your favorite side dish of choice and serve
